Join us for an engaging and fun weekend at MBU featuring Mary Baldwin's annual spring Sankofa conference for leadership development. Meet students in MBU's Ida B. Wells Program for highly motivated young women who want to celebrate and explore African American culture, leadership, and civic engagement, and our PERSIST program for first-year men to access mentoring and leadership development with an emphasis on the African American experience. This weekend is organized by MBU's Office of Inclusive Excellence, which develops programming to promote cross-cultural sharing, exploration, and support for all MBU students.
